On the day of the driving test, instructors typically charge for 2.5 hours to cover not just the actual test itself, but all the necessary time and support involved. This includes around an hour of pre-test warm-up and final practice, followed by the 40-minute driving test, and additional time afterwards while the examiner completes paperwork (such as issuing the pass certificate), which can take up to 10 minutes.
