How It Works
Your first lesson will be an assessment. Your LDA instructor will assess your ability to drive and control the vehicle. This will enable us to provide you with an accurate estimation of how many lessons you will need to confidently pass your test. The average amount of hours needed as stated by the DSA is 45, with at least 22 of this as private tuition. LDA has managed to get its learners to test standard in 30 hours or less, due to our unique teaching style and easy to learn techniques. This could save you a lot of time and money.
When can I Schedule Lessons?
Our driving lessonsare completely flexible and lessons are arranged around you. Learning to drive is personal to the learning needs of the individual. Some learners prefer 2 hour lessons; others can’t keep up the level of concentration for that long so are better suited to 1 hour slots. We’ll tailor a plan to suit you.
Perhaps you work long hours and require weekends or late evenings. Maybe you need picking up from your place of work, we can pick you up from wherever you like. Whatever your situation, simply let us know when you`re available and we will work around you.
Need to Learn Fast?

What do I need to get Started?
Simple – to learn to drive you need to be age 17 or older and have a provisional driving license. You can apply for your provisional license 3 months before you turn 17. This means you can then start your lessons on your birthday if you so wish. Apply online through the official website https://motoring.direct.gov.uk.
