Intenese Driving Lessons in Oxford

An Intensive Driving Course is a fast-track way to learn to drive. Instead of taking weekly lessons over several months, you complete the same training over a shorter period—often within 1 to 3 weeks.

Important: An intensive course is not a shortcut. You still need the same number of hours and must reach the same driving test standard. The key benefit is that lessons are completed over a shorter period. This helps many learners build momentum, improve confidence, and retain driving skills more effectively.

If a full intensive driving course is not the right option, a semi-intensive driving course may be available. This allows you to take several driving lessons each week while maintaining greater flexibility.

How Many Hours Will I Need?

• Beginners: 30–45 hours
• Some experience: 15–30 hours
• International drivers: 6–15 hours

• We require at least 4 weeks’ notice to arrange an intensive driving course for you. Please note that additional notice may be required during school holidays and other busy periods

Payment Methods

• You can pay your instructor directly by either cash or bank transfer.
• Please note that payment for your first lesson must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson is due to take place.You will get bank details in your confirmation email from LDA once you book the lesson. 
• Failure to make payment within this timeframe may result in the lesson being cancelled and the appointment being offered to another learner.
