Yes. Block bookings are available and provide better value compared to single lessons. You can book your first lesson online but the rest can be arranged directly with your instructor. Alternatively, you can call us on 01865 722148 so we can pre-book all your lessons.
Absolutely. We specialise in teaching complete beginners and take a calm, structured approach to help learners build confidence from their very first lesson.
We currently offer a brilliant introductory package of £350 for the first 10 hours, ideal for new learners. These lessons are conducted with one of our DVSA-registered trainee instructors (PDIs), who are fully authorised to teach and closely supervised by senior LDA trainers. This option offers excellent value while maintaining the high standards LDA is known for.
Yes. Our refresher lessons are ideal for drivers who haven’t driven for a while, lack confidence, or need help adjusting to UK roads.
Yes. Motorway lessons are available for qualified drivers who want to build confidence at higher speeds.
Lessons are usually 1 or 2 hours long. We often recommend 2-hour lessons for faster progress, especially for beginners.
Everyone learns at a different pace. On average, learners need around 40–45 hours of professional tuition, but this varies depending on experience and progress.
We cover Oxford and surrounding areas including Headington, Cowley, Blackbird Leys, Botley, Summertown, Kidlington, Abingdon, and nearby towns.

We use a wide range of modern, dual-controlled vehicles including Audi A1, Audi A3, Toyota Yaris, Toyota Corolla, Skoda Fabia, Vauxhall Corsa, and other similar models to ensure comfort, safety, and familiarity on test routes.
Yes. You may request a change of instructor if you feel there is a lack of progress or for any other valid reason.
However, please NOTE that any remaining lesson balance cannot be transferred from one instructor to another if there are outstanding hours remaining.
Unfortunately, we do not get involved in booking driving tests. However, your instructor will guide and assist you with swapping your test date, whether you need to postpone it or bring it forward, subject to availability.
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the full lesson being charged.
The majority of our instructors are fully qualified DVSA-approved driving instructors (ADIs).
Some instructors are DVSA-registered trainee instructors (PDIs) who hold a valid trainee licence. By law, they are permitted to teach and charge for lessons while they are completing their training and preparing to pass their final ADI Part 3 exam.
